About SeeWider

Why we built SeeWider

SeeWider started as a personal itch. We kept trying to make sense of how people, organizations, and things connect — families, teams, histories — and the tools we had (notes, spreadsheets, scattered diagrams) fell apart the moment a picture got complicated.

So we built the tool we wished existed: a place to lay out people and relationships visually, see the whole shape at once, and share it. Once it was useful to us, we opened it up to everyone.

Who we are

We're a small team based in Istanbul. SeeWider is built and run by the people you'd reach if you wrote in — there's no large company behind it, just a focused group shipping something we use ourselves.

What we believe

Relationships are easier to understand when you can see them. Our aim is to keep SeeWider simple enough that anyone can map their corner of the world, and open enough that what you build is yours to share.
