The dynasty's money came from two directions. Samuel P. Bush ran Buckeye Steel Castings in Ohio, while George Herbert Walker built a Wall Street banking house and lent his name to golf's Walker Cup. Their children — Prescott Bush and Dorothy Walker — would marry and merge the two fortunes.

Fourth generation — two presidents in one family

George H.W. and Barbara had six children. George W. Bush became the 43rd President; Jeb Bush served two terms as Governor of Florida and ran for president in 2016.
